A New Month
Here we are in December of 2008 with just a few days to go until we start a new year. How can that be? We have been immensely blessed over the past year, but what have we accomplished. I guess just getting from there to here in one piece is accomplishment enough. Watching the Grandchildren grow, seeing positive changes in the lives of family and friends brings great joy and makes the journey worthwhile.

Mission Friends at the Roma Office in Monterrey, Mexico
This was taken the day before we left Monterrey to drive home via Torreon, Chihuahua, Colonia Juarez, and Cd. Juarez. One of the best parts of a mission is the friends you make. Here we have John and Sharlene Hollingsworth, the Area Medical Advisors, Aurora Leal, former secretary to the Area Presidency, Brother and Sister Busby who are now back out in the mission field serving in Ecuador, and Cornell and Marlene Thomas, psychological advisors to the missions.
President Ronald Daw and Sister Tracy Daw are on the front row left with us at the opposite end. We had a large number of couples in the Cherry Hill mission which made for some great social get-togethers every couple of months. The Daws graciously hosted us at the Mission Home and we all brought pot luck. Fun times.
